Building a sense of community to drive change is the first step to creating impact. We have developed programs and supported community initiatives that create a sense of ownership and community amongst the less privileged. Community outreach programs are a standard way for nonprofit groups to identify a particular need in its community and give services to the people who require it, thereby playing an integral role in the mission.
Nearly every community outreach program at Mission Partnerships has a lead outreach coordinator charged with coordinating volunteers and other staff to achieve the group's goals. These community outreach workers will help in public education, volunteer recruitment and coordination, media campaigns and fundraising goals. By doing so, the Community Outreach Worker helps us achieve our mission to serve the community.
These programs are funded by our charity partners and may require that all the activities and outcomes are gathered in a formal report to show the program's supporters that their donations are being used as intended.
